What’s cookin’….

Who doesn’t love SMORES!  One of my most favorite things to do is to cook……So naturally when these projects were presented at Convention 2008 in SLC a couple of weeks ago, I just had to do them myself and offer them as class projects to you!

My calendar will be updated tomorrow with all the class schedules.  If for any reason the dates for your favorite projects are great fo you, then let me know and I will do a special one-on-one class for you and your friends at your convenience.

Make these great page marks for the cook in your family!

This is my most favorite project.  Who wouldn’t be better organized by having a dinner chart.  I know I could use one.  How many times have you been to the grocers and grabbed a few extra things while you were there with the intent to make something with them that week, only to find it rotting in your frig a month later.  Well, if it isn’t you, I know it is me.  This will surely help me get better organized with dinner.  Plus this is fun and looks fabulous too!  If it isn’t for you, this would make a great gift for any cook!

O.k.  This is another favorite.  I have holiday recipes all over the place.  What a better way of organizing those fun recipes for the holidays.  Let’s get together for this fun class.  Bring your favorite holiday recipe to share and get a head start on filling it up.

Now this was a fun project!  I have done season plates before, but glass etched plates.  This is fun becuase all you need is one plate with 12 different styles to change out each month.  Why not make your kitchen one that has fun and fresh focal points that you won’t find in your neighbors kitchen!

Now this fabulous project is great for family recipes.  This poject is fabulous becuase it is mostly made of chipboard, thinking outside the box for creativity.  This is one you’ll surely have for years to come and to pass on.  Fill this book with family recipes at your next gathering.

This is the perfect gift for the cook in your life even if it is you.  This makes a great personal gift for a new bride too.  All she needs is in one box.

Now this class will be the most fun!  This class will be help at the Community Center in my neighborhood!  WHY?  Becuase while we make this fun project, we will also be making our own cupcakes, so bring your favorite recipe to share and let’s have fun baking together….

Call me TODAY to schedule your own private party for any of these classes and any projects you see on my SU! site, www.FREEdomSTAMPerS.stampinup.net  Check out those projects as well as the others posted on my blog in the coming weeks.

What’s been going on…

Filed Under (Announcements) by Nicole on 19-08-2008

Hello everyone…

It has been a while since I’ve had a chance to update my blog.  I know I have neglected it but I do have a goal to post at least once a week these days.  Thanks for hanging in there…

My husband, Rodney, and I have been trying for 10 years to get pregnant!  We finally did it!  We are so excited, we can’t stand it.

We are due somewhere in the neighborhood of the end of November, first of December.  So many of you know already and have asked me to blog updates so here I am.  I usually don’t blog so much of my personal life so this is going to be new to me.  I am a few days into my first trimester and things are going very well.  Of course, I have all the symptoms one could get while in this condition and the fact that it is rare to have an AC in houses in the PNW doesn’t help on those hot summer days.  But we are getting through it as it is supposed to cool down soon.  Thank goodness!  So considering my condition and the timeliness of the cruising events I had previously scheduled, they are now cancelled.

We did manage to over book my cruise event for October.  This event I was doing on my own with a fabulously lower price than what was offered from the previous company and one that included more than $100 worth of new products and fabulous projects.  One of my DL is actually escorting that event in my stead.  All the projects were designed by me, the only difference is I won’t be able to be there to teach it.  So many of you have either emailed or called to ask when I was doing another event.

Well, I will probably plan for one in February and/or April.  I will be heading to Florida/Georgia in late January for my Leadership conference and to introduce our newest family member to family.  I will be in Hawaii with Stampin’ Up! in March and will be attempting to move back to the east coast in late May/June.  My husband is supposed to be deployed shortly after we move, so I will do more planning while he is gone and post all trips and events on my blog.  But I will attempt to do another event in either February and/or April.  So stay tuned….

O.K.  So now you know why my blog has been quiet, stay tuned for postings in the next few days of fun projects from Convention.  If you live locally, keep an eye out for my calendar for events coming up.  If you live long distance, any of the projects and classes can be sent right to your home with color pictures and instructions for you to make at your convenience.  Just contact me for details.

Thanks again for hanging in there with me while I was AWOL trying to make it through my first 2 trimesters of this miracle pregnancy of ours.  Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.  I greatly appreciate your support…Thanks, Nicole
